Groome Industrial Service Group Acquires JSI Solutions, Adding Patented Air-Cooled Condenser Cleaning to Its Specialty Maintenance Platform
Denville, NJ –August 18, 2026 – Groome Industrial Service Group today announced the acquisition of JSI Solutions Inc. (“JSI”), a specialty cleaning company headquartered in Nassau, New York that designs, manufactures, and operates patented equipment for cleaning Air-Cooled Condensers (“ACC”) and Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers (“ACHE”). The transaction adds a standalone ACC/ACHE cleaning capability to Groome’s national specialty maintenance platform, complementing its existing service lines and bringing JSI’s patented T-Truss HydroRig equipment, leak-detection services, and a German-engineered, U.S.-manufactured technology base to Groome’s power generation and industrial customers.
JSI is Groome’s second platform acquisition of 2026, following the recent announcement of Groome’s acquisition of Taylor’s Industrial Coatings. Together, the two transactions advance Groome’s strategy of building a comprehensive, turnkey specialty maintenance platform for customers operating critical natural gas infrastructure. The acquisition enables JSI to deploy its patented cleaning technology across Groome’s national network of combined-cycle (“CCGT”) and simple-cycle (“SCGT”) gas turbine plants and gives Groome customers a single accountable provider across both the steam side and the cooling side of the plant.
Groome and JSI provide mission-critical services that support essential natural gas infrastructure at a pivotal moment for the industry. Surging power demand requires natural gas-fired plants to cycle more frequently and to operate closer to nameplate capacity than they were designed to handle, with global data center electricity use projected to more than double by 2030, according to the International Energy Agency. As cycling intensity increases, fouled ACC tube bundles and degraded heat-exchanger performance cause measurable backpressure, lost generation capacity, and reduced fuel efficiency — making restoring cooling-side performance one of the highest-return maintenance activities operators can undertake.
JSI brings patented cleaning equipment — the T-Truss HydroRig — purpose-built for ACC and ACHE bundles, alongside specialized leak-detection capability and 15 years of operating experience. Since 2009, JSI has focused exclusively on this category and today cleans millions of square feet of ACC surfaces annually for customers across North America and Europe. JSI’s combination of equipment design, manufacturing, and field services gives Groome a unique platform position: most cleaning providers either operate equipment they did not build or build equipment they do not operate.

JSI was founded in 2009 and operates from a U.S. base in Nassau, New York with a parallel operation in Germany. The company holds granted patents on its T-Truss HydroRig and proprietary cleaning systems. JSI’s leadership team and operating workforce will remain in place. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
