The plant and its management needed a clear and predictable maintenance plan to extend the life of the equipment, to increase operational efficiency, and to reduce instances of urgent critical maintenance calls.
Groome performed an operational assessment of the entire plant and provided the client with an option to fix singular operational issues, plus a more comprehensive proposal for a proactive and scalable strategic maintenance plan. Working in concert with the plant’s operations managers, Groome customized the proposal to fit the priorities and budget of the client.
The client implemented Groome’s strategic maintenance plan option and realized incredible results. The integrity of the catalyst system improved, and the work environment became more stable and predictable. The improvements led to a 15% decrease in maintenance costs, increased plant output and an annual net gain of more than $1 million.
